We say "وصّل" or "أشبك", both words mean (connect), this is how we say it.
So the sentence would be "وصّل الآي بود", notice I used "ال" for iPod cause it is a name.

In the conversation you usedثنين شاي
In formal arabic for numbers from 1 to 10 there must be plural noun.
So in colloquial this rule isn't applied?

It is a bit tricky, because (tea) is liquid and that is why it didn't take plural, if it was countable material like (ma77ayah محّاية) which is (eraser), then you will use plural from (ثلاث محّايات).
BTW, numbers from 3-10 takes the plural not from 1-10 cause 1 is singular smile and 2 is dual wink
