A common question to students is, "How did you do in your exams?". The question might change slightly and become more direct if the person asking is at a senior level e.g. "What is the result of your exams?" Obviously, if you're the student at the receiving end of this question you would want to answer "excellent". We teach you useful words around this topic and more.

Ahlan Sofia,
We are happy that you like and enjoy ArabicPod. The word (dilhija) or (dilhaga) is a colloquial phrase, it means (this thing).

Alright Sofia,
The word then is (thulhijja ذو الحجّة) which is the 12th month in the Islamic calendar. The word itself means (the month of pilgrimage)
