Today we go through some lyrics of a song. The song was dedicated to the singer's daughter, so as you can imagine there is plenty of complicated but useful vocabulary. However, in lyrics there's often a deeper meaning, more than just the translation. Listen to find out what we mean.

A level far too advanced for me, but the nasheed is beautiful, and it reminds me of my daughter so the song really touched my heart, or as it says in the song, it fills my eyes with happiness.

Was a bit surprised by the use of the word fitna since Ive only heard it used in a negative way, but listening to you guys I think I understand.

Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you for your efforts! Please keep them coming, and using nasheeds and songs inbetween is wonderful idea!

i have a question .please tell me what exactly the word is. I have sometimes heard the word pronounced probably like this ãáÇÍÙ among your words specifically by the teacher Ihab Saleh

Probably you mean (ãáÇÍÙÉ) which means (note) as a note to get your attention while reading something. If you feel this is not what you meant, then tell us the exact time that this word has been used in the lesson and inshallah we'll try to help.

Thank you for your answer ,but I think it was áÇÍÙ meaning notice which is sometimes used by the letter Ý before it . ÝáÇÍÙ

Alright then, this makes more sense. Yes, (ÝáÇÍÙ) is actually (áÇÍÙ) proceeded by (Ý). If the word (áÇÍÙ) is pronounced as (laa7a6'a) then it means (he noticed), however, if it is pronounced as (laa7e6') then it means an order to notice something.
The letter (Ý) means (and then), so you could translate (ÝáÇÍÙ) to (and then he noticed).
Hope that helps.

As-Salaamu-Alaykum

I was wondering if you had any books on verbs and Arabic Grammar that would go along with or better assist me with what we're doing here?

Shukran

Wa 3alaykum assalaam,

We have transcripts that come with every lesson, and if the lesson is about grammars, then you should find everything included in the transcript. Also the exercises that come with the lessons as well would help you test your knowledge and understanding of the grammar as well as the vocabularies.

If you are after grammar books that are not necessary related to the lessons but teach Arabic grammar in general, then you should keep an eye on our online shop at: www.ArabicPodShop.com

Hope that helps.

Bettawfeeq (good luck)
