Competition
We need a new intro for our podcasts. Will you be the one to design it for us?
The winner's intro will be played at the beginning of our podcasts and will have the potential to be heard by millions. On top of this, the winner will receive a 12 month premium subscription.
The rules are simple:
- It must be less than 30 seconds long (Our current intro is 18 seconds).
- Must be from your own creation and not copied from elsewhere.
The competition ends on the 15th of October, and we will announce the winner shortly after
To enter, simply email your audio to contact@arabicpod.net with "competition" in the subject

New Podcast Feed
Due to popular demand we have introduced a new "private" feed that you can use in various applications, such as iTunes, to download not just beginner, but all podcasts apart from advanced. You must be a paying member (Basic or Premium) to view all the podcasts on this feed, otherwise it will only display beginner ones. Below are illustrated steps to help you subscribe to this new feed on iTunes.
1. Click on the
icon next to your username at the top right corner of the website

2. Note down your private feed link
3. On iTunes go to Advanced and then click on "Subscribe to Podcast"

4. Enter your personal feed link
5. You can now download all the podcasts via iTunes at your convenience!

New Website Design
Welcome to the new ArabicPod website! For those amongst you who are already loyal ArabicPod fans, you will have noticed a considerable change to the layout of the website. The new layout aims to help us provide you additional features and increase the user friendliness of the website. Here are some of the changes and features of this new layout:
Only beginner lessons are freely listenable and downloadable: This helps us increase revenue so that we can invest more back into the website enabling us to provide additional content in the aim of becoming the No 1 Arabic learning website.
Additional features to the dictionary: There are several new features to the dictionary including flashcards and audio tests so check it out!
A communication page: We give you the opportunity to contact other learners via skype or discussion pages.
Compulsory signup to use the website: Users now have to signup to access any feature of the website. Previously users could listen to lessons without being signed in.
The team behind ArabicPod understands the need to continually improve and introduce features to help us gain the competitive edge on the internet. This change won’t be the last, there are more features and new content in the pipeline. We really want to make this website the only resource you need to learn Arabic. Thanks to everyone for supporting us so far and we hope your support is here to stay.
