    Dear Moshaya, the word "thaniyaat" means Valley or Hill?

    @ozancik, Thaniyyaat means folds, bends or creases etc. I guess the valley of Al-wadaa3 was famous with small bendy hills. To be honest, this word is rarely used in the street but everyone knows it from this song.

    You need to say "Peace be upon him", when you mention the prophet's (peace be upon him) beautiful name!!

    It is commonly misunderstood that this nasheeds was sung on the Hijra of the rasool صلى الله عليه و سلم but a proper reading of the seerah will show it occurred after the return of the Muslim army from the battle of tabook.
