Started learning Arabic in 1998 during a trip to Morocco. Fell in love with the language. Took a year of it in University and some study abroad. Never really used it until 2007-2010 when I lived in Dubai and did not take advantage of the time I had there. I am back in North America, but I'd like to reach conversational fluency.
