I lived in Dhaharan, Saudi Arabia in 1978. And my Dad was born and raised in Egypt. I'm a US citizen living in Finland (for the last 16 years) and I've made a concerted effort to learn Arabic over the past 2 years after having visited Dubai which I loved. And just got back again...
