What abou "istanna" for "wait"? Is that Syrian colloquial?

I've noticed that "intadher" (the imperative of "intadhara") is used in educative Islamic cartoons where children converse in hypercorrect Modern Standard Arabic (e.g. "al-najwa"). "Istanna" (the imperative of "istinna") seems to be a regional word. A Google search shows that it is frequently labelled as Egyptian Arabic.

I have also been doing Pimsleur tapes, "Eastern Arabic" or Syrian colloquial and they use "Istanna." Thanks, Desmond.

Actually, (istanna) is one of the common colloquial Arabic words that is used many Arab countries. It gives the same meaning like Inta6'er, and the feminine form of it is istanni.
